The Establishment Bar Election Night Special, with special guests

Well, in a few short hours, all the work we've put in, all the money we've contributed, will pay off. We will, hopefully, have thrown out Donald Trump and retaken the Senate, while expanding our majority in the House.

I'm proceeding with cautious confidence, which is really all one can do when depending on other human beings for an outcome. However, the stars aligning for Trump a second time would beggar belief, and be proof that our world is a computer simulation being run by a bored, pimply teenaged boy.

Settle in. Have the libation of your choice. (Kava tea for me.) Have some good food. (Trader Joe's appetizers for us at Casa de LL.) And always remember: Watch out for the swong, and vote Sensible Party.
