Information on the Georgia Senate runoff seats

I have a piece coming up exploring how I am feeling right now in regards to the outcome of the 2020 election. Needless to say, I am feeling a mixture of relief, euphoria and rage.

But that is not so important right now as the two runoff Senate races in Georgia.

The fact that Biden is the likely winner in Georgia after over twenty five years is a miracle in of itself that comes down to the raw courage and tenacity of the state's Black voters in the face of brutal voter suppression. Even better, both Senate races have been forced to a runoff.

Critical Info

If you or someone you know is a Georgia voter, make sure they have this information.

        Meet the Candidates

Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are the two main candidates running for Senator David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler respectively. The fact that both candidates were able to force a runoff election is impressive in and of itself.

But both candidates need to pull off more than just impressive this time around. They need to win a clear majority.

That means voters need to be reached, and the campaigns need a major push from people all over the country.

Spread the word on social media.

If you are good on the phone, volunteer for a shift.

But with the caveat that you must obey the orders of the people running both campaigns to the letter. I have seen several warnings on twitter from Native Georgians that the wrong approach on the phone in Georgia can cause damage.

But right now, both campaigns need a lot of money.

Information about the candidates will be below.
So if you are able to, open up your wallets and send both candidates money.
This is our last chance to retake the Senate. Let's not make the work of Georgians who fought so hard in vain.
