Democratic National Convention, Day 2

Good evening, friends!

Wow, what a night last night. It was a night anchored by the testimony of two women of color: Kristin Urquiza and Michelle Obama. They delivered a 1-2 punch on how unfit and generally evil Donald Trump is. 

I won't lie: I had more than a tear in my eye as Miss Urquiza detailed how her father believed Trump's lies, and died for it. The only pre-existing condition he had was in believing Trump. This is ETTD red in tooth and claw.

And Mrs. Obama took us all to church last night. Her words have all the more weight because she withholds them so often. As she said at the beginning, she hates politics. But as a citizen she felt she had an obligation to speak out. May we listen to her this time.

What will tonight bring? Will it match last night? One can only hope!
