Democratic National Convention, Day 1

Good morning, friends!

Well, it's finally here. Today begins the Democratic National Convention.

What a difference a plague makes. The entire convention will be virtual, which will make covering it a bit unusual. This is, of course, pointing out the failure of this regime in regards to the pandemic; if things had been handled competently, both Joe Biden and Donald Trump could have had at least some in-person events at their conventions. Unlike Trump, though, Biden and the Democrats accepted reality and moved everything online, whereas Trump kept trying to find a sucker to host a disease outbreak.

I encourage everyone to tune in to the happenings, and not just during prime time. The off-hour activities contain a lot of information about what Democrats are doing with various constituencies.
