Debate Night in America! Open thread

Well, here we go again.

The media, as usual, is hyping this as a "must win" for Vice President Kamala Harris. Any faltering and the American public will be forced to submit to Donald Trump's fascist rule.

Of course, the media consists of pettifogging careerists who see book deals in a new Trump administration. Never mind that they'll be thrown in the hoosegow if Trump is able to follow through on his threats. "Think of the clicks I'll generate as I get led to the firing squad!"

Kamala will do better than fine. Trump may have a mental breakdown on stage. It was bad enough he had to debate a woman in 2016. But a Black woman? I think it's safe to say that if he tries any of those shenanigans he used against Hillary Clinton, VP Harris will make it quite clear that she's been "Black" for a long time. And that she's faced down scum like him her entire professional life.

So, settle in, keep the comments flowing, and chill. Tonight would also be a good night to hit that donate button so we can send some lucre to the Harris-Walz campaign.
