In memoriam Cicely Tyson and Cloris Leachman

If you are, as me, a person of a certain age, Cicely Tyson and Cloris Leachman were entertainment touchstones.

From Sounder to Young Frankenstein, Ms. Tyson and Ms. Leachman provided me with pathos and humor growing up. 

Of course, they were more than what they did on screen. Both were civil rights champions, for Black people and the LGBTQ+ community. 

To close out the week, we'll be honoring their memories and their legacies.
