Well. Unless you've been on a bender since early yesterday, you know that Criminal-in-Chief Donald Trump engaged in some light treason / election fraud aimed at Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Saturday.

Too many on our side are convinced that this is another signpost on our way towards fascist dictatorship. They're obviously not seeing what those of us of a more stoic bent are.

Trump is a mob boss after all his capos have abandoned him. All he has left are the soldiers too stupid to know their boss is heading for a RICO conviction, and they're going down with him. With such material are fascist coups not predicated.

In the call, Trump was begging like a man on his knees ready to face the firing squad. He was asking for a solid for old-time's sake. And just like Salvatore Tessio found out, there's no mercy in that life.

I have never been more convinced than I am at this moment that Trump will be the first American president to be indicted. New York State will indict him. The Manhattan DA will indict him. Fulton County will indict him. And now he's given grist to the mill for a Biden attorney general to go after him for sedition.

But gird your loins: The next sixteen days are going to be something this country hasn't seen outside of the Civil War. Either Trump will collapse in resigned lethargy, or he will carry out his own Nero Decree and ravage the country which has rejected him. Don't panic, but be on guard. Rebirth is always a bloody affair.

For better or worse, we're living through actual world-historical times. We need to face them with courage and determination.
