25th Amendment open thread

Well well well well well. Things are boiling.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has let it be known that he's pleased that the traitorous filth is going to be impeached. It's hard not to conclude that he'll call the Senate back into session and hold the trial.

Meanwhile, Liz Cheney—yes, Liz Cheney—released a statement that she will vote for impeachment. She's the number three in the House Republican caucus. I cannot overstate how big this is.

Tonight, the House will pass a resolution giving Vice President Mike Pence a deadline to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove the filth. He won't, of course. He's such a wimp that he won't act against the man who put his life, and that of his family, in danger in the failed coup. Once he refused to invoke the amendment, the House will move to impeach the vermin tomorrow, and there's a good chance that the number of Republicans voting "aye" will be in the double digits.

All this because so many white people were damaged in their souls that we had a Black president.
