Friday open thread: Persons of the Year

Well, Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris again. President-elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris were chosen to be Time Magazine's Person(s) of the Year.

The fact that Trump was in the running as well must be especially galling. He keeps losing in court. He keeps losing in the broader culture. And now another organ of the Establishment is telling him it's over. He doesn't matter. He doesn't count. His time is done.

Things are still stressful. COVID is out of control. We have a moronic but seditious coup attempt still bubbling. But help is on the way. 

Now we have to have Joe and Kamala's backs. We won a battle. But the war is only going to heat up.
