Weekend self-care open thread: Over 3 million served!
Well, well, well, well. Lookie that.
What is that number? That's how many page views this humble little blog has had since it debuted in October of 2019.
Now, it's not three million people. Unfortunately I don't have that data. But three million page views is nothing to sneeze at. Page views is how the Big Guys determine ad revenue. It's how the Big Guys measure their appendages. Page views is the metric by which websites are judged. And for this blog to have amassed that amount of page views in four years is no small feat. Most blogs of our sort don't garner that much attention. So we must be doing something right.
As I've written before: This isn't me. This isn't Trevor. This is all of us. Everyone who makes this community what it is. Our various posts have been viewed three million times. Our very first post gets a handful of views every week, so people are still finding us on a regular basis, and hopefully sticking around. I couldn't be prouder of this thing we've built. And it's all because of you ragamuffins.
Lurkers, come on out and say "hi" this weekend if you feel comfortable doing so. The majority of these page views are from you wonderful people. I can't thank you enough for tuning in daily to see what mad scribblings we're on about.
So, we're going to have some fun and frolic this weekend. Here's to the next three million views.
As always, dear friends, be ever kind and gentle to yourselves and those around you.
