Monday open thread: HELP! HELP! I'M BEING REPRESSED!

Well, I thought we'd get this week started off in a jocular vein. This happened up in the Great White North:
For background, we have this:
The “queen of Canada” led supporters to Peterborough’s police station on Saturday, calling for the “citizen’s arrest” of local officers.

Instead, two of her supporters were arrested.

Romana Didulo is a B.C. resident who claims to be an alien being with higher powers, and insists she is the ruler of Canada and, more recently, the world.

“I am the head of state, commander in chief and head of government and queen of Canada replacing Queen Elizabeth II of England who has now been executed for crimes against humanity,” Didulo said in a September YouTube video.

She has thousands of supporters across the country, including in Peterborough, where Frank Curtin organized Saturday’s event.

He promoted it with a written statement from Didulo calling on “armed forces, special forces, black ops and special ops” to come to Peterborough to assist in the arrests of police over their enforcement of COVID-19 measures.

The only arrests were made by police.
First off: I wish, as an American, to apologize to our Canadian readers, especially our regular contributor Crabby Victor, for exporting this crap to you lovely people. You certainly don't deserve to catch a cold because the US sneezed.

But, more importantly: How did these people think they were going to effectuate a citizen's arrest on armed officers? Is "citizen's arrest" even a legal concept in Canada?

From the same article, the Queen of Canada also encourages her suckers followers to not pay their utility bills. Which leads to this:
No, I feel no pity for them. I am beyond pity. Pathetic though they are, they are part of a movement which seeks to undo the liberal democratic order. They wish to impose their blinkered views on the majority. Those protestors are lucky Canadian police are not trigger happy. It would have gone much differently down here in the States.

People like Didulo need to be prosecuted for fraud. They are committing a fraud upon their followers, taking their donations to fund themselves while encouraging them to commit acts which will lead them to no good end. Keep cutting off the head of the snake.

Anyway, they're bloody peasants.

This is your open thread.
