BREAKING: The Siege of Mar-A-Lago Has Commenced

Dark Brandon is on a rampage.

Roughly 40 minutes ago, reports confirmed that Mar-a-Lago has officially been raided by the FBI.

Trump himself acknowledged the raid, naturally by whining about how oppressed he is and how this is nothing but an attack by "radical Democrats" on his rising poll numbers and blah, blah, blah.

But those of us that have been following the Garland Justice Department know that this is a logical step in their ongoing investigation. They've been slowly and steadily working their way up the chain. When news broke over the weekend that Trump had been advised to cease all contact with Mark Meadows, we knew that the Justice Department was closing in on their target.

And Trump has always been their target. While the Blue Checkmarks bitched and moaned, Merrick Garland has run a tight-lipped investigation gradually working his way up the food chain. Remember, Garland has previous experience taking down the mob. He knows when and how to flip the little fish and when and how to flip the bigger ones. Like the famed Monty Python skit, nobody expects the Garland DOJ and Trump certainly didn't on this second Monday in August.

It's all happening, now. LL has constantly said Trump will regret the day he descended that cursed escalator. He had the life he always wanted: fame, power, sex, money. But he gave it all up because he wanted more. And what he wanted was all those things in the absolute. He thought he could attain them through the presidency. For four years, he crimed away with zero repercussions. In the end, he forgot that while he had perceived "immunity" as president, that immunity ceases after he leaves office. There is no I-Can't-Be-Held-Responsible-For-My-Crimes-When-I-Was-President card to play in the real world. For the first time in his life, Donald J. Trump will face consequences for his actions. 

And the nation will finally see him receive his comeuppance.
