Weekend self-care open thread: A celebration of Women's History Month

For International Women's Day, the All Blacks, New Zealand's iconic men's national rugby team, had this to say:
Forever grateful to all the women in our lives that allow us to play the game we love.
Yes, lassies, thank you for letting us play rugby. I mean, gotta keep the balls and chains happy, wink wink nudge nudge.

Needless to say, the reaction was not optimal. From the BBC article, this caught my eye (emphasis mine):
Former England star and World Cup winner Kat Merchant was among those to respond to the All Blacks' initial post.

"Why is #InternationalWomensDay needed? This right here," she wrote. "Black Ferns are current world champions yet this post chose to ignore their existence and instead thank the women who 'allow' men to play."
The Black Ferns, New Zealand's female rugby national team, as stated, are current world champions. Instead of celebrating them, the All Blacks went for the cheap laugh. And this is why months like Women's History Month are needed. The world is still seen mostly through a male scrim. Yes, even in progressive New Zealand, never mind more benighted places. Until the mantra "women's rights are human rights" no longer has to be intoned, Women's History Month is neccessary.

For this weekend's self-care, a little educational fare.

As always, dear friends, be ever kind to yourselves and those around you.
