Tuesday open thread: Say what, now?

Well, it seems President Rat has been busy this morning. The above tweet is his masterpiece.

First, there's no way he actually typed this out. He regularly misspells 3-letter words. There is no possibility that he typed out "provocateur".

But besides the improbability of the vermin writing this himself, let's delve a bit more into it.

As we always say, there's no bottom. He's no blaming a 75-year old man of bringing a police assault on himself.

And, of course, there's the mad conspiracy theory. By the time he's dragged out of the White House next January, he'll be shitting his Depends and writing "ANTIFA" on the Lincoln Bedroom walls over and over again.

For Trump, Antifa has become his Freemasons, his Illuminati. It's the amorphous, all-powerful organization plotting his downfall, funded by (((George Soros))). When he's on trial in New York State, his defense will be based around Antifa's nefarious deeds against him and all true Americans. I'd be surprised if the day at the West Wing doesn't begin with a Two Minute Hate against Goldstein-Soros.

Even Richard Nixon, in the depths of Watergate, didn't unravel as this vermin has been unraveling. We are watching a psychotic break in real time. A narcissist can't admit that his own actions are bringing about his downfall, so he must cast blame at everyone outside himself. Brad Parscale and Jared Kushner are next on the chopping block, having failed the leader. He hired the worst polling outfit in the US to "unskew" mainstream polling showing losing by double digits to Joe Biden. Don't be surprised if pretty soon he turns on his pathetic, abused children.

This is not a man to fear. Moreover, the powers arrayed behind him are not to be feared, either. Rather than being dark lords, they hitched their wagons to an observably unfit moron. It takes a lot to carry out a fascist coup in a federal republic; having someone at the head who isn't a blithering idiot should be the first order of business.

Happy Tuesday, everyone. Stay strong, stay vigilant, but proceed with confidence.
