BREAKING: The so-called "president"* declares so-called "martial law"
Of course, he didn't actually declare martial law, because he has no such power.
He threatened to call out the military to quell the uprising. What he did was order police to clear Lafayette Park so that he and his toadies could walk to a nearby church where he could have a photo-op. He didn't even go into the church to survey any damage. He just stood there like a moronic mannequin raising a Bible in his tiny hand. Make no mistake: this stunt was all due to him being called a coward from all sides, both from those who hate him and those who wanted him to bring the hammer down on the uprising.
I'm not going to pretend that I'm not frightened. But what I am most is furious. This ignoramus, this vermin, this rat who has done nothing of any good for any other human being in his life is now on the verge of destroying the world's first democracy. He doesn't know how to build anything. All he knows is how to brand work others have done, and destroy it.
A black man's death—one among thousands for the past 400 years—has triggered something in this country. It's a final reckoning. It's a culmination of the civil war which didn't end 150 years ago. We are at a clear crossroads of who we want to be. This roach has shown who he is. It's time for us to respond in kind.
