Look, Tulsi, you cult member, you homophobe, you Islamophobe, you apologist for murderous dictators: No one destroyed your reputation but your own dumb ass. When the rest of the world was aghast at the atrocities Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad was committing, you decided to go to Damascus on a propaganda junket to support him. You decided to support a genocidal maniac using chemical weapons against his own people. You did that. No one put a gun to your head. (Although someone may have put a few rubles into your campaign account.)
The fact is that you are friendly with Assad and Russian strongman Vladimir Putin. You downplayed to the point of invisibility the role Russia played in the 2016 election, even going so far as to parrot the GOP line that the Mueller report exonerated Donald Trump. You are who you are. The problem is, no one likes you, and no one's going to defend you when you do indefensible things. Why you thought a run for the White House was a good idea only God knows. Much like Trump, you shouldn't have come down that escalator.
