True crime Friday: Danielle Cherakiyah Johnson - Astrology Influencer Killer

Danielle Johnson was an astrology influencer killer. She was a 34 year old mother as of this date there is no birthday listed in the information I found. The solar eclipse was April 8, 2024. The eclipse generated good vibes and also bad vibes. In Los Angeles three people were left dead, including an infant. A neighbor reported the incident after discovering the bloody scene at their apartment complex.

The suspect Danielle Johnson killed her partner Jaelen Chaney, She allegedly stabbed Chaney during an argument and then fled with her two daughters in her SUV, crashing through the apartment's garage gate. Johnson had spoken about spiritual warfare pertaining to the total solar eclipse before the incident. The LAPD described the horrifying moment on the freeway as the 34-year-old mother attempted to flee. Johnson opened the passenger door and threw her children onto the freeway.

The truth be told, the police is investigating the eclipse angle because nothing else makes sense at this time.

Aftermath of the Murders

Detective Golan, who is head of the homicide unit investigating the case said that they did not have a chance to interview her so that is the angle they are using. The baby was pronounced dead on the road, but the older daughter who is nine years old survived the stabbing. Johnson traveled southwest to Redondo Beach, where a half-hour later she was driving over 100 miles per hour and crashed into a tree. The police are investigating whether the solo crash was an apparent suicide.

Johnson posted on social media that people needed to get their protection on and their heart in the right place. She also said the world is very obviously changing right now and if you ever needed to pick a side, the time to do right in your life is now. Stay strong you got this. She had more than 105,000 followers on X.

On an April 5, 2024 post stated “Wake up wake up the apocalypse is here. Everyone who has ears listen. Your time to choose what you believe is now.” Per the LA times Johnson’s social media also included a mix of anti-Semitic screeds, conspiracy theories about vaccines and warnings about the end of the world alongside astrological predictions and positive affirmations. Johnson’s internet presence and online following dates back years. The Fader, a music magazine, interviewed her in 2016 as an astrology personality.

The LAPD said there were no calls for police to respond to the couple’s apartment prior to Monday’s killing, when neighbors called 911 after seeing the door open. Johnson did not have a felony criminal record in California and there were no indications of reported domestic violence.

Postpartum psychosis (PPP) is a rare and severe mental health emergency requiring treatment. It occurs in about 1 to 2 out of every 1,000 births. PPP typically begins between 24 hours and three weeks after delivery.

The onset of PPP is sudden and may involve:

• Not sleeping
• Altered sense of reality
• Confusion
• Violent thoughts

This was a horrible event and Johnson would have been punished. I also think that postpartum is not taken seriously by some medical professional and society in general. Women’s issues are considered distractions. If women’s issues were taken seriously perhaps Johnson’s family would still be intact.
