Weekend self-care open thread: Thanks for the memories, Paul

Actor Paul Reubens passed away this week after a six-year battle with cancer.

If you are of a certain age, his character Pee-Wee Herman may have had a significant impact on your development. His show was a subversive and sly children's program. It was a surrealist Sesame Street. It carried on the tradition of classic Looney Tunes: children enjoyed it, but there was something in there meant for adults as well.

This weekend we'll visit some of the music most associated with Paul and Pee-Wee. 

Rest easy, Pee-Wee. Your fight is over.
