Thursday open thread: ETTD

What are these "very fine people" whining about?

Well, they are investors in World Digital Acquisitions Corporation—AKA, Truth Social. And, well, the stock isn't doing that well. By some accounts it has lost 80% of its value since its ridiculous overvaluation. But, of course, the rubes invested, because the orange Pied Piper is a billionaire, a smart businessman, a Messiah, and this was their tithe and their chance at riches.

This would be when watching mainstream news would have served them well. The plethora of Donald Trump's business failures is well-known. His ability to sink any new venture isn't a secret. Most of us who are not in the cult foresaw this turn of events. Everything Trump Touches Dies is a truism.

But these are akin to the people who would keep sending the late, unlamented Oral Roberts money so that God wouldn't "take him". These are the people who invested in the lunacy of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. These are the people who, by the looks of it, had tidy nest eggs, but wanted more, more, more, not content with what they had, or investing judiciously to slowly grow their wealth. People like this just know in their bones that they're one big deal away from joining the ranks of the jet setters. They, too, will be ushered into the swankiest, most exclusive resorts, far away from the concerns of mere mortals. It is not only their right, but their destiny. They deserve success.

And this is why I don't fear them. For all their bombast, they are nothing but sheep; they call their opponents that epithet, in another case of projection. They'll buy "survival food". They'll buy dick-lengthening pills. And they'll invest in things like an obvious pump-and-dump scam, which is now being investigated by the Feds and will probably come crashing down in a few months, wiping out the rest of their savings. Smart people would cut their losses and lick their wounds. But these are not smart people, and things always get out of hand. They can barely organize their own lives, much less a subversive take-over of the Republic. They do whatever they're told, no matter how farcical. And their leaders are like them, just higher up on the food chain. The leadership has no more intelligence or forethought. Their gift is to con others. It's all a self-sustaining multi-level marketing scheme. There will always be an inexhaustible supply of marks. No one will go broke underestimating their stupidity—although they might find themselves in prison.

So, dear friends, as the weekend draws near, be comforted in the fact that our adversaries are mostly like this. These are not people to be feared, but to be mocked and then crushed. We have it in our power.
