Weekend self-care open thread: Money money money
Well!
On Friday, the verdict on damages in Donald Trump's fraud case came down. And
wow. Donnie Two Scoops has to pay $355 million to New York State.
But, it gets better. Of course he can appeal. There's a slight hitch, though:
He has to put up all of the fine up before he can do so. He has yet to do that
with the E. Jean Carroll case. Trumpo just doesn't have the liquidity.
Meanwhile, I may not be rich, but I think the missus and I are in much better
financial condition. At least we don't owe anyone hundreds of millions of
dollars.
