Thursday open thread: Mental health in the time of COVID-19

Aside from the threat we face from the novel coronavirus on a level of illness, the measures we've had to take as a society also affect our mental health. Cooped up at home, we can't engage in our favorite pastimes, whether it involves going out for a meal, going to the movies, having a cookout at a park, or, yes, going to the library. And of course, for those who don't have the option of working from home, but have instead been laid off, the financial stresses add to the mental health toll.

This is a Q&A hosted by PBS Newshour dealing with the mental toll COVID-19 is exacting, and how to thrive and survive during a pandemic.

Stay well and whole, my friend. This is your open thread.
