ROGER STONE GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS!

News just broke that the jury in the Roger Stone trial returned verdicts of guilty on all seven counts.

For your elucidation, here are the counts, courtesy of Darren Samuelsohn:

Some takeaways.

He was convicted of lying to Congress. Right off the bat, this means that Don, Jr had better start thinking of a bolt hole like Russia to which to flee. So should a few others who lied to investigating committees.

Also, Wikileaks.

Let's be clear: Wikileaks is an FSB front. If it was ever an independent entity, that went out the window once Julian Assange got turned by the Russian spymasters. Everything Wikileaks has done in the past decade has been in the service of Russian interests. Russia is the cesspit of corruption among the world's major powers, but never figures in any Wikileaks exposés.

The trial not only connected Stone to Wikileaks. Who cares about that, in the end? What the trial did was connect Wikileaks to Stone, and Stone to Donald Trump. Prosecutors laid out the case that Trump knew about Stone's communications with Wikileaks—which, again, is an organ of Russian intelligence—and encouraged them. Thus, all of Trump's assertions that he knew nothing about Wikileaks or Russia are just lies, which will figure in the ongoing impeachment proceedings.

Remember that the Stone trial was a result of the Mueller investigation. It's now gobsmacking that Robert Mueller was sitting on this trove of incriminating information, and produced nothing more devastating than a neutered report. We can thank him that he got this case off the ground; however, in general, his investigation was more or less a waste of two years. The prosecutors in this case did what he was unable or unwilling to do: tie Trump to Russia, directly.

This morning we saw Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch eviscerate Trump, to the point where he was tweeting at her during her testimony, and to which she responded on live television. Now one of his plumbers has been found guilty on all counts, and the jury accepted the prosecution's argument that he was acting in concert with Trump. The straws keep piling up on the camel's back, and eventually will break it.

Stay true, patriots. Justice is coming.
