Weekend self-care open thread: A trip down one-hit-wonder memory lane

I come to sing in praise of the one-hit wonder. 

Sure, some see it as a failure of an artist to make a career. But maybe that's the only hit they had in them. And that's nothing to be ashamed of. If you're going to have one hit, make it a good one.

For this weekend's self-care, we celebrate that too-much-derided animal, the one-hit wonder. I've limited my choices to songs which were a hit in the US, and whose artists didn't chart any hits in any other countries. So, no aHa or Dexy's Midnight Riders this weekend.
