Weekend self-care open thread: LOONEY TUNES! And a fundraiser!

Unless you're a young'un like our Ed, we've all grown up on Looney Tunes cartoons. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd. The whole lot.

The thing is that these cartoons from the classic age were NOT meant for children. Sure, children saw them in the theater, but these were shorts shown before adult feature films. It was only the television age which turned them into children's fare. The kids laughed at the slapstick, and the adults laughed knowingly at the double entendres.

For this weekend's self care, we're going to laugh.

The world is too much with us. So we may as well laugh.
