He's not the debonair sociopath of Sir Sean Connery, or the camp of Sir Roger Moore. His Bond is a man weighed down by the things he's done. His final outing, No Time to Die, wraps up his story in the greatest tradition of epic heroes. No spoilers, but it will be fascinating to watch how Barbara Broccoli reboots the franchise, given how No Time to Die ends.

Anywho, getting to sing the theme song for a Bond movie is one of the pinnacles of a musical career. The theme songs are cultural touchstones.
