The Early Childhood of Kimberly Clark Fowler

She was born in Massachusetts. I could not find any information regarding her early childhood. Obviously, it was not a happy one since she grew up to be a serial killer. I could not find any information about her parents you helped to shape her childhood. Her parents moved the family to Texas where Kimberly Fowler went to high school and continued to live in Texas. She was a cheerleader in high school but had to quit after she found out she was pregnant. She gave birth to a son and she her boyfriend seemed happy. She left Central High School  after the birth of her child. Kimberly eventually earned her high school diploma or General Educational Development Program (GED). After that she attended Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Kimberly got a job at DaVita Dialysis Clinic. She has been fired from previously nursing jobs before getting the job at DaVita Dialysis Clinic. She had been fired from Woodland Heights Hospital after being caught stealing Demerol and cheating on a urine test. She had a checkered past but tried hard to overcome it. She and her husband had two children when she began stealing drug prescriptions. She had also been arrested for Domestic Violence regarding her spouse.

The clinic manager and the Emergency Medical Services Unit noticed an uptick with medical emergencies at the clinic. In April of 2008, the clinic had called emergency services over thirty times. Before Kimberly began working there only two calls had been made within a fifteen-month period. Patients were given too much Heparin and most went into cardiac arrest. The spike in Emergency Medical Service calls was especially unusual, since under normal conditions, dialysis patients rarely have them.

Any patient that survived an encounter with Kimberly Fowler is extremely lucky. The incidents were reported to the fire department inspectors. They launched a secret investigation into the clinic and staff. The clinic was shut down once the police started their official investigation. Several syringes that Kimberly Fowler used tested positive for bleach. She was fired a few days later. She lost her nursing license as well. During her trial several patients testified that they saw her draw bleach with two syringes. When Kimberly Fowler was confronted, she said she was cleaning an unused dialysis machine. This was a lie of course because there was no protocol in place for such measurements. The bucket Fowler was using, as well as the syringes, tested positive for bleach.

Lady Justice

Kimberly Clark Fowler was eventually sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Which means she will die in prison. She received the death penalty for murder and sixty years for attempted murder. Kimberly Clark Fowler has appealed her life sentence and is imprisoned in a Texas facility.
