Enough

I don't care that his mother died.

I don't care that he has mental issues.

My father died when I was 18. I didn't do this.

Millions of people have mental health problems. They don't do this.

He's not sick. He's not in mourning.

He is evil.

Enough of coddling this wretch.

Enough of making excuses.

The consequences he has suffered so far are not enough.

He an all like him must be made to go crawl back under the rocks from which they've arisen, aided and abetted by a former president who winked at them and told them to stand down and stand by.

What used to be anathema is now accepted.

Yes, we have more documentary evidence. But we also have more people openly espousing these beliefs. And they have huge platforms and speak alongside members of Congress.

We have a party which looks the other way at the rot in its own ranks. This didn't come out of a vacuum.

If "never again" means anything, it means this: Not remaining silent.

His apologists can excuse him all they want; they just enmesh themselves in his evil.

I think that most of those who laud him as an artist will be aghast at this. But some small, significant minority will take the red pill with him. And that's enough. That is how pogroms begin.

These are not "very fine people". These are the scum which we have to defeat over and over again. The human condition is that evil returns, again and again. The human condition is that we must always be ready to defend what is right.

Enough.
