Lenny Kaye. You've probably never heard of him, but he was instrumental in the garage rock revival, and in the preservation of early garage rock songs. Lenny is also the lead guitarist for the Patti Smith Group, and has a show on SiriusXM's Underground Garage channel.
In 1972, Lenny released a compilation album: Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era. It collected American psychedelic and garage rock singles released from the mid to late 1960s. For this weekend's self-care, side one of Nuggets.
