Early weekend self-care open thread: One toke over the line, sweet Jesus. And a fundraiser!

So, #DarkBrandon is now #DankBrandon.

On Thursday, President Joe Biden pardoned all federal convictions for simple possession of marijuana. He also instructed Health and Human Services and Justice to start studying how to reclassify marijuana from where it is now.

Needless to say, I approve of this. Pot is no worse than alcohol, and is actually much better for your health than demon rum. Pres. Biden also pointed out that marijuana convictions disproportionately impact communities of color.

Much like Joe Biden put up the flag of marriage equality, now he's moving to end a costly and ridiculous prohibition on a drug which millions use to no deleterious effect. This is why you vote for Democrats.

But, enough of that serious stuff! It's Stoner Weekend at the Bar, in celebration of this welcome news.

And, since we're in a party mood: It's fundraising weekend!
