Friday open thread—Take a deep breath

It's something we've been missing for four years.
It's a sense of relief. It's a sense that we're at the beginning of the end of a very dark period in our history.
It's a sense of relief that we might not have to make a Sophie's choice in November. That we won't have to choose between a right-wing autocrat and a left-wing ideologue.
Two weeks ago, none of us were looking forward to November. We were all convinced that we would have to make a very unpalatable decision on the first Tuesday of the eleventh month.
At least for now it feels like the elephant has been lifted off our chests. We can, for now, breathe.
As I wrote the other day, the road is still long. But right now we're not driving into a storm. Right now, we're driving into clear skies.
Take a deep breath. We've got this.
