Weekend self-care open thread: Ladies and gentlemen, Nick Lowe!
If you are of a certain age, and of certain musical tastes, you will know who Nick Lowe is.
He arose out of the 1970s English music scene as a producer. performer and songwriter. His songs have been covered by the likes of Elvis Costello and Johnny Cash—who, believe it or not, was his stepfather-in-law.
As with many of these self-care threads of people many have never heard of, on the day of writing this I'm going to go see Mr. Lowe in concert. One more performer off my bucket list.
