Ladies and gentlemen: THE FAB FOUR!

So. I was wracking my brains for this weekend's self-care. I had a few good ideas. Then, out of the blue, I played this on YouTube:

And I thought to myself: Have I ever done a self-care thread on the Beatles?

Well, my friends, no I have not! I've done holiday threads on the Beatles Christmas messages to fans. But never on their music!

I can honestly say that I'm ashamed of that.

I grew up as a Beatles fanatic. My eldest brother raised me on their music. I sang "Yesterday" at a talent show in school. My brothers, fresh from Cuba, partly learned English by listening to their records. The Liverpudlians will always have a soft spot in my heart.

So, for this weekend's self-care, I shall rectify my gross omission of never celebrating these four young lads who changed the world of art and culture irrevocably.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you John, Paul, George, and Ringo. The Beatles!
