Thursday open thread: The third January 6th public hearing. And we won't give up "the Big Lie"

Well, howdy friends.

Here we go on Day 3 of the public hearings on the insurrection.

And CNN has decided to do what the graphic above says.

Look, we all know that the media is not neutral. But "big lie" is an accurate description. It's not "Democratic propaganda." It's what it is. And we won't let it get sent down the memory hole.

As the meme goes: If someone says that it's raining, and someone else says it's sunny, your job as a journalist is to stick your fucking head out the window and see who's telling the truth. This "both sides" fetishism will doom us as a Republic. There is truth and there are lies, and treating them as the same is not tenable.

But, for me, I'm glad the hearings will be at 10am Best Coast Time. I'm gonna be riveted to the TV.
