Weekend self-care open thread: Happy birthday, Wolfie!
Whenever you hear someone called a Wunderkind, ask if they were composing what would become classics of the repertoire when they were five years old. Because Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was!
This past week was Mozart's 270th birthday, and his music is as fresh and vibrant as when he was among the living. It was Mozart who inculcated a love for classical music in me. I would listen to Run-DMC one minute, and then Eine Kleine Nachtmusik the next. And I would learn from both.
So, without further ado, let's get to the music.
As always, dear friends, be ever kind, gentle, and joyful with yourselves and those around you.
