This being the country of Russia it is not easy to obtain all the victim’s names. I was able to find his first victim name and it is listed above. I wanted to bring attention to all victims, so I listed them as unknown. I did notice the misogyny within all the articles that read which referred to the victims as the old women. I guess they did not matter because they were not young. Radik Tagirov victims were single women aged 75 to 91 years old. According to investigators he entered the apartments while pretending to be an employee of a utility company or service worker. All victims were strangled and then Tagirov would steal money and valuables from their apartments. It is unclear why he targeted older women; it was not clearly explained during his interrogation. He was captured on CCTV on September 26, 2012, at the entrance of one of his victims home. A face composite was made and released to the public.
