Weekend self-care open thread: Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath!

Don't accuse me of not listening to y'all!

I'm far more partial to music based on Black music. But, really, all of rock music is based on Black music. So this weekend we shall honor three bands from the First Wave of British heavy metal.

I will be quite frank. American heavy metal leaves me cold. Mostly, because in its heyday, it looked like this:

Spandex and hair teased to within an inch of its life are not my things. 

But British metal? Oh yeah, give me that ish. Led Zep. Purple. Sabbath. Let's fucking go.

So let's do this and rock out!
